Not long ago, I posted a seller financing article on my ActiveRain blog in response to another Realtor who took offense with some real estate investors.
In my post, I make the case for the (honest) real estate investor because they can and do bring liquidity to a marketplace. I also talk about the advantages of seller financing when done right.

In a stunning announcement, executives of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were told that their companies are on the verge of government seizure and forced conservatorship.
The executive leadership and their respective boards were also informed they stand to be replaced if this happens. Should this announcement become reality, it bodes poorly for shareholders leaving their holdings virtually worthless. Yet, the companies will continue operations with the government backing their debt.

Look at enough Gilroy homes for sale and you’ll end up buying one of them. From the time your offer is accepted (goes into contract) through the period when it finally closes is know as the escrow period (in escrow).
